Rammstein is busy again!

Hi folks -- it's been awhile since we had anything new to report. But as some of you may already know, life is beginning to stir in the Rammstein camp. Aside from festival and concert dates announced for next summer (including two dates at the Wulheide in Berlin, announced yesterday), there is a new video release and single looming on the horizon. The Videos 1995-2012 will contain all the videos and Making Of's to date and will include two new Mein Herz Brennt videos. The first one will be released on 7 December (next Friday), featuring just Till and his friend Sven Helbig on piano (you can watch it at r+.de). A preview is available at http://www.hhv.de/shop/de/artikel/rammstein-mein-herz-brennt-299346

The second MHB video, featuring the whole gang, will be released on 14 December and can be watched at http://www.mein-herz-brennt.com/index.php?v=1

The video collection release has the following roll-out dates:

December 14, 2012
Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Holland, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland

December 17, 2012
Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Greece, Hungary, Norway, Portugal, Romania, UK

December 18, 2012
Italy, Spain

January 15, 2013
Canada, USA

January 21, 2013
Mexico

January 25, 2013
Australia, New Zealand

January 30, 2013
Japan

And btw, for those of you who bought the deluxe MiG and don't want to buy all the vids again, the two MHB videos will (supposedly) be available for individual download on iTunes.

Sueddeutsche Zeitung Magazine

For those of you who haven't visited the official site or heard about this, our guys are gracing this week's special issue of Sueddeutsche Zeitung Magazine with a 30-page, in-depth interview that was conducted during the recent North American tour. Have a look here:

http://www.rammstein.de/en/news/suddeutsche-zeitung-magazin-sonderheft-rammstein/

Apparently not available for sale to the US, but my guess is the usual suspects (ebay, etc.) should have some copies if you're not lucky enough to have German friends :)

Viel spass!

Marilyn Manson and "Rammstein"

And I put that in quotes because sorry, but Rammstein without Till is NOT Rammstein ;) But here's the vid from the 2012 ECHO Awards, presented last night in Berlin. MM performed The Beautiful People with most of our boys, and they won two awards while they were at it: Best Rock/Alternative National and Most Successful National Act Abroad. Congrats, guys!

Frankly, I prefer their usual lead singer :D
Till -- LIFAD grin

Welcome!

Happy 2012, albeit, a bit belatedly! Sending warm regards to all of you and a hearty welcome to our newest Pimp members (Pimpers? Pimpsters?). Please feel free to join in, introduce yourselves and have fun :)

Some sad news that some of you may not have heard -- we lost our genius in light, Gert Hof, on January 24, 2012, to cancer. He was 60 years old. I'm sure I speak for all of us in sending our sincerest condolences to Gert's family and friends.

And a new post appeared yesterday on the official site, commemorating the start of the second leg of the Made in Germany tour: http://www.rammstein.de/en/news/made-in-germany-ex-oriente-lux-2/ Don't miss the vid made by fans -- very cool!
